HELIO — PROVIDING LIGHT AND POWER TO THOSE IN NEED

We are pleased to share the following social good projects, accomplished through our caring non-profit partners, and funded through HELIO purchases:

One Million Lights

  • Providing 100 portable solar lights to their "Rape Hurts” program which will supply them to girls and women in Uganda to help keep them safe on their daily walking routes.
  • Providing 100 solar lights to their "Rural Elderly Care" program which will allow grandparents in Uganda to better care for their grandchildren, orphaned due to the AIDS epidemic.
  • Providing 100 HELIO lights to students without access to electricity, to improve their studying ability after dark and to help them achieve a better education.

Global Brightlight Foundation   Providing an entire village in Guatemala with individual household solar systems, supplying light and power to every member in the community. (Village name and further details coming soon!)

Lalafofofo
Providing a complete infrastructure installation of solar light and power to a large nonprofit hub in Tanzania. This installation will supply much needed electricity to 16 individual nonprofits, all housed and working together to combat poverty and infant mortality, and to increase women's health, student education, nutrition levels, and more, for the greater local communities.
